Best Chromium Privacy Extentions

I'll normally use Firefox for my browsing needs, but unfortunately I've recently had these annoying artefacts and screen tears. I tried installing the Nightly, and the problem persists although Nightly rocks in many ways (For instance it'll disable java by default, you manually have to enable it every time a site wants to use java applets!)

Basically, until I figure out a solution I'm forced to use Chromium! So I'm wondering if any of you guys use Chromium, and what kind of extensions you'll use... And any other tip for enhancing privacy on Chromium would be appreciated!
